Hi, I'm Millie, and welcome to Cyber Grad Chronicles.

I built this site to document my journey into cybersecurity through research, technical projects, threat intelligence, and continuous learning. What started as a way to organize my own notes gradually became something much larger: a place where I could learn in public, share what I discovered, and create resources that help others navigate the field.

Why It Matters

Cybersecurity can feel overwhelming when you're first getting started. Between certifications, frameworks, technical tools, career advice, and constantly evolving threats, it's easy to wonder where to begin.

I wanted Cyber Grad Chronicles to become the resource I wish I had when I started: one place where research, education, projects, and personal experience all connect in a way that's approachable without sacrificing technical accuracy.

Key Concepts & Lessons

Curiosity is one of the most valuable cybersecurity skills.

I've always been fascinated by patterns, psychology, investigation, and understanding why people behave the way they do. That curiosity naturally led me toward cyber threat intelligence, where understanding adversaries is just as important as understanding technology.

Learning never really ends.

Cybersecurity changes constantly. Every new project, certification, threat report, and lab becomes another opportunity to grow. Rather than chasing perfection, I've learned to embrace continuous improvement and lifelong learning.

Knowledge becomes more valuable when it's shared.

Writing articles, documenting labs, creating educational resources, and explaining technical concepts helps reinforce my own understanding while hopefully making cybersecurity more accessible for someone else.

This library is meant to connect everything together.

Every article, project, threat brief, and lesson on this site builds on another. Together, they tell the story of my growth while creating a practical learning resource for students, military spouses, career changers, and anyone interested in cybersecurity.

Millie's Perspective

Building Cyber Grad Chronicles has taught me that growth is rarely linear. Some days are filled with breakthroughs, while others involve debugging code, rewriting documentation, or realizing I still have much more to learn. I've come to appreciate all of those moments because they are part of becoming a better analyst.

My hope is that this site encourages others to begin before they feel completely ready. Whether you're studying for your first certification, building your first lab, changing careers, or trying to find your place in cybersecurity, remember that progress comes from consistent effort, not perfect timing.

Thank you for being here and for following along. Cyber Grad Chronicles is still growing, just like I am, and I hope you'll continue the journey with me.

Millie's Perspective

Cyber Grad Chronicles is not just a polished portfolio; it is proof in progress. This site shows what I am learning, what I am building, and why I care about making cybersecurity feel more approachable.

Key Takeaways

  • Cyber Grad Chronicles is part portfolio, part learning hub, part research notebook, and part digital diary.
  • The site documents progress instead of pretending the journey is perfect.
  • Cybersecurity is technical, but it is also deeply human.
  • Building in public creates proof, clarity, and momentum.
  • This library is meant to help others learn while showing my growth.
